Anti-Wrinkle Injectable Treatments
Wrinkles form when the muscles under the skin's surface contract. The more times the muscle contracts, the deeper the wrinkle becomes. Axillary Hyperhidrosis (Excessive armpit sweating)
Excessive sweating in the armpits can be treated with injections of the protein botulinum toxin into the overactive sweat glands. The excess nerve signal to the sweat glands is blocked by the protein which reduces significantly the amount of sweat produced. This effect can last for around three months after which time it can be repeated.
The treatment is not as uncomfortable as it sounds and local anaesthetic cream can be used if you wish.
